In 2006 I lived in the back of Clothes Contact, Vintage by the Pound and I used to throw karaoke dress-up parties in the store. It was an amazing time. This week at Dalva a guests from one of those parties happened into my karaoke night and it was a real blast from the past for me. I made a blog post about that particular party and you can see photos from that party there! Thanks for showing up Dasha, you made my night!

I also recorded a number of songs tonight which you can listen to below. I typically don’t sing very often myself when it is busy, but usually get to make up for that at the beginning and the end of the nights. This night was no exception and was particularly amusing. There were almost no singers left and the end, but the people who were there really wanted to hear some Elton John songs and kept making requests, so I sang several of there request for them…and, of course, recorded them. It was KJ Paul Elton John Rock Block by request:).
